Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others are optional, for example to measure which pages are read most or which Pinterest pins bring visitors here.
What we use
Essential cookies (always on, needed for the site to work):
- Your cookie choice. We remember your answers in your browser’s local storage (under the name
wlp-consent) so we don’t ask again on every page. - Checkout. When you buy a printable pack, our shop (WooCommerce) sets cookies such as
woocommerce_cart_hash,woocommerce_items_in_cartandwp_woocommerce_session_…to keep your order together until you have paid. Our payment providers, Stripe and PayPal, may set their own cookies on the checkout page to process the payment securely and prevent fraud. - People who manage the site. WordPress sets login cookies for site administrators. These are not set for readers.
Optional cookies (off until you switch them on; “Allow all” switches on both, “Choose” lets you pick):
- Analytics: Google Analytics (
_ga,_ga_…) to count visits and see which guides are read most. - Marketing: the Pinterest tag (cookies such as
_pin_unauth,_epikand_derived_epikon this site, and Pinterest’s own cookies such as_pinterest_ct_ua) to measure which Pinterest pins and ads bring visitors here. It tells Pinterest when you visit a page, sign up for a free printable, add a pack to your cart (which pack and its price) and complete an order (the order number, number of packs and total in US dollars). We do not send Pinterest your email address, name or any other contact details. Pinterest may use this information to show ads on Pinterest, under Pinterest’s privacy policy.
If you choose “No thanks”, or make no choice, neither Google Analytics nor the Pinterest tag loads.
“Save” buttons on pin images are plain links to pinterest.com. They load no Pinterest code and set no cookies on this site; Pinterest only receives anything if you click one.
